This page shares some of my personal styles and preferences for clothes, food, places to visit and things I like to do. My life is full, with singing, family, friends and adventures. Brisbane, in Queensland, Australia is a great place to live and work; it is fresh, robust and busy.
On long flights – like those to Europe from Australia, I watch Big Bang Theory – a whole season in one sitting. Keeps me entertained. 14 hours in the air from Brisbane to Dubai is almost torture for me! So a comedy series is a great way to pass the time.
Shorter flights – like Dubai to Amsterdam is only 6 hours – so a movie and some reading is adequate. My last flight I watched ‘Woman in Gold’ with Helen Mirren. It was really good. I like movies that teach me something, with fine acting.
Packing for overseas travel is my nightmare. I always pack too much! I plan (badly), pack and unpack; when I get to a destination I feel like throwing half of it out – but I don’t learn! It’s almost a psychological problem (well, it probably is!).
Growing the Garden 
I loved “Woman in Gold”. Helen Mirren is a wonderful actor.
